Our client, a leading marine service company, is seeking an experienced Outboard Technician to join their skilled team in Portland, Maine. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of outboard engines and related
You’ll be responsible for servicing, installing, and troubleshooting Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, and Evinrude engines and components. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with outboard systems, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain outboard engines and rigging systems
- Perform maintenance (oil changes, fuel inspections, water pump replacements)
- Troubleshoot electrical and fuel system issues
- Install motors, steering, and control systems
- Conduct performance testing and ensure work meets safety standards

Qualifications:
- Experience as a marine or outboard technician (certifications an asset)
- Strong knowledge of outboard electrical and fuel systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting and reading technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license
