Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant and Toddler Assistant Childcare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development for infants and toddlers
- Support children with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards
- Foster a warm, caring environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and social interaction among young children
- Maintain accurate documentation of children’s progress, behaviors, and daily activities for parent communication and record-keeping purposes
- Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and safety protocols to protect children’s well-being at all times
- Engage in classroom management by supervising children closely and managing behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development, needs, and daily experiences to build trust and partnership
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and child supervision best practices
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies, behavior management techniques, and childhood development instruction
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, team members, and children from diverse backgrounds
- Previous classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments will help ensure success in this nurturing role

Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
