Duties
- Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable nail treatments and products tailored to their preferences and needs
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently using salon software like Millennium or similar platforms
- Upsell retail products by demonstrating their benefits during client interactions to enhance their experience
- Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
- Engage with clients via social media management to promote services, showcase work, and attract new guests
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of nail care procedures, sanitation protocols, and cosmetology standards
- Strong management skills to handle appointments, retail sales, and client relationships effectively
- Experience with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and record keeping
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to create a positive guest experience
- Proficiency in social media management for marketing and brand promotion purposes
- Ability to perform advanced treatments like gel application, acrylics, nail art, and dermabrasion techniques
- Familiarity with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, makeup application, or hair styling is a plus
- Knowledge of health regulations related to sanitation and safety in a salon environment
