Preventative maintenance, repair, installation, testing, and calibration of production equipment throughout factory including facilities equipment. Trouble shooting of equipment problems with respect to mechanical and electrical areas, down to individual component level. Perform routine periodic testing of equipment to ensure key components functioning properly. Work with engineers and production personnel to optimize equipment uptime. Keep and maintain records for equipment repair/preventive maintenance. Scheduling of preventive maintenance procedures and records. Perform minor facility repairs including plumbing and electrical.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Technical AA degree in general engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
Experience:
-
2+ years applicable experience in manufacturing setting in relation to repair and maintenance aspects of production and testing equipment using power tools, lifting, and measurement/diagnostic tools.

Understanding of technical drawing and basic engineering principals to repair and maintain of production equipment.

Experience in mechanical and technical trouble shooting of equipment problems.

Hands on and very direct approach to problems and needs of production demand.

Work as a part of a team to perform testing, including data analysis for equipment performance.

Experience with networked PC based computer system
