Although we are based in Winter Park, FL, our clientele is located all over Florida. We are looking for a junior level sales agent to support a Medicare client's needs in the Jacksonville, FL area.
The Licensed Medicare Agent will become a vital part of helping individuals navigate their healthcare options with confidence! In this energetic role, the right candidate will be able to leverage insurance sales expertise to educate, assist, and enroll clients in Medicare plans that best suit their needs. Enthusiasm for customer service combined with sales skills will drive meaningful connections and empower clients to make informed decisions about their health coverage. Duties
- Engage over the phone with prospective clients through sales efforts
- Provide clear, detailed explanations of Medicare plans, benefits, and coverage options to help clients understand their choices
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance products tailored to individual health and financial situations
- Negotiate plan features and premiums with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Stay current on Medicare regulations, plan updates, and industry best practices to deliver accurate information
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client questions promptly, following up on inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the enrollment process
Skills
- Active Florida 2-15 or 2-40 Health Insurance License
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate value propositions and close sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate Medicare plans confidently
- Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM systems for tracking leads and managing client information
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance when handling sensitive health information
- Ability to perform analysis of market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve outreach efforts
- Preferred: Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse communities
