Job Summary:
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Counter Person to join our team at Capisce Pizzeria. You’ll be the face of our pizzeria—taking orders, assisting customers at the counter.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a positive attitude and take orders in person or over the phone
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system
- Package food items for takeout and delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and prep areas
- Drive and deliver orders promptly while following traffic and safety laws
- Keep delivery vehicle clean and in good condition (if using company vehicle)
- Assist with light prep and restocking during downtime
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and customers about orders and any delays
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle (unless one is provided)
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm and friendly in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual, responsible, and a team player
- Prior food service or delivery experience is a plus, but not required
