MESSENGER JOB DESCRIPTION
A messenger is a person who makes deliveries between business and residential locations and may travel by foot or public transportation. They may transport different items such as but not limited to documents, small boxes , food products , medical tests and other items
RESPONSIBLITIES
A messenger must be responsible, independent and very punctual. They are given a daily assignment and are expected to carry it out.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Should be familiar with the geographic area of NYC and be able to maneuver through heavy urban congestion.
- Knowledge of trains routes and streets of NYC
- Should be in general good health as there is a lot of fast walking
- Ability to carry up to 20lbs
- Must have own smartphone and be comfortable using digital apps and cameras
Communication: be able to read, write and speak English
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Happy, Friendly, Articulate and Confident
Have Positive Attitude and be a team player
COMPENSATION
Vacation days up to 7 per year
LOCATION/DAYS
- NYC Area
- Full & Part time Available 7 days per week
- Flexible Schedules starting as early as 7:00am and as late as11:00 Am
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
