Overview
Linda Tool is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Lead to oversee the packaging and shipment of our products. In this vital role, you will be responsible for securely packaging and shipping company products as well as receiving and distributing goods received.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Lead inventory management efforts by conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining precise inventory records using company ERP system
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, optimizing space utilization and materials handling procedures for maximum efficiency
- Ability to operate forklift while adhering to OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling
- Have knowledge of UPS Worldship platform
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, materials handling equipment, and mechanical knowledge relevant to warehouse functions
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic setting; excellent communication skills are essential.
- Ability to make skids and prepare product for shipping.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
