Job Summary
As a Part-Time Sales Associate at Perfumania, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting our wide range of fragrances. Your primary focus will be to engage customers, assist them in finding their desired products, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining store standards and supporting sales initiatives.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about our fragrance offerings.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cashiering and cash handling.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking of products to maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout.
- Supervise and train new team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product lines, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform basic math calculations for retail math tasks related to sales and inventory.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a fast-paced environment such as a grocery store or similar setting.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team.

- Familiarity with product demos, merchandising strategies, and stocking procedures is advantageous.
