Description:
The Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute, the only Federally recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of Excellence south of Chicago, is hiring a full-time Director of Compliance. Under the direct supervision of the COO, the Director of Compliance is responsible for aggregating/analyzing internal and external data for reporting/auditing, and coordination and oversight of all organizational accreditation initiatives. He or she serves as the main point of contact for accrediting bodies, works with the leadership team to ensure accreditation requirements are met, reviews data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results, and oversees quality improvement projects and initiatives.
The Director of Compliance is responsible for ensuring all operations meet legal and regulatory requirements and serves as a member of the Quality Management Committee. The Director of Compliance also monitors the Drug Supply Chain and Security Act annually, and reviews state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to BCDI service lines.

Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 dependent upon education and experience

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree In healthcare administration or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Six Sigma green belt certification or equivalent preferred.
3. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare organization preferred.
4. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Accommodations will be made as necessary should employee have imposed lifting restrictions.
