Birch Ridge in Staunton, VA is seeking compassionate and dedicated DCAs/Caregivers.
DCAs provide help to our residents. In this role, you will provide care services to residents while maintaining their safety and comfort.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Supporting Residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being
- Helping out as needed in the Resident Services area to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our Residents
- Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator
- Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator
- Assist Residents with their ADL's and the administration of their medications
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Residents while following company policies and procedures
- Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders (as applicable)
Qualifications:
· Must be able to speak and read in English
· Experience with senior population
· An abiding love of seniors is mandatory
· Extremely reliable, dependable, and observant
