Job Responsibilities
Daily Shop Cleaning & Organization
- Clean assigned areas each morning, including removing chips from inside machines
- Ensure aisles remain clear and free of hazards
- Pick up and properly store unused pallets, wood blocking, hoses, and other materials
- Empty all garbage containers daily throughout the office, lunchroom, and machine shop
- Replace paper towels and toilet paper in bathrooms and lunchroom as needed
- Refill Oil Dry containers as necessary
- Keep cranes raised when not in use
Weekly Duties
- Clean lunchroom once per week (wipe tables, clean microwaves and sink, sweep and mop floors)
- Empty used shop rag containers at each workstation every Tuesday
Material Handling & Shop Support
- Deburr parts and gears
- Move raw materials and finished/unfinished parts to designated areas
- Operate forklift safely and responsibly when transporting materials
- Assist the Quality Manager as needed or assigned
- Notify management when cleaning or deburring supplies are running low
General Expectations
- Perform all work safely and responsibly
- Stay on task and work effectively under supervision
- Complete additional general duties as assigned by management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
