Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP), Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), or Professional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, child & youth therapy, family counseling, and specialized interventions such as trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, and addiction counseling.
- Implement evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to client needs.
- Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability during acute episodes.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation standards; maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient care coordination, and research initiatives to optimize outcomes for individuals with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Facilitate intake assessments via telehealth or in-person sessions; utilize social work principles to support clients’ mental health journey across inpatient, outpatient, or community settings.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LMHP, LIMHP, or PLMHP with current certification to practice independently in your state.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, social work, clinical counseling, or behavioral health interventions.
- Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or those with trauma histories like PTSD.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering services via telehealth therapy is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills and cultural competence.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
