Job Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative / Sales Manager based on the US West Coast . The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive logistics network to actively identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing primarily on US-based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). You will drive revenue growth by selling our premium end-to-end Air and Ocean freight forwarding services.
Job Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Actively hunt, prospect, and close new B2B accounts among US local SMEs for import/export shipping needs.
- Freight Solution Selling: Promote and sell compamy's comprehensive Air & Ocean freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing services
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term consultative relationships with decision-makers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Quoting & Negotiation: Collaborate closely with internal operations and pricing teams to issue competitive air/ocean quotes and negotiate service contracts.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor logistics industry trends, ocean/air carrier capacity variations, and competitor movements on the West Coast.
- Team Leadership (For Manager role) : Lead, mentor, and track the performance of the local business development team to achieve quarterly regional revenue targets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven sales or business development experience strictly within the International Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US West Coast freight market, local SME client behavior, and ocean/air freight operations.
- Track Record: Proven book of business or transferable SME client portfolio in international logistics is highly preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per month
