Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Weekend Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our caring team at Beehive Homes of Lakeville. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional nursing care to our senior residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort during weekend shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents under directions of DON (RN only)
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following proper aseptic techniques
- Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and evaluate patient responses to treatments
- Assist with wound care procedures such as suturing and ostomy care as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and health coaching
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
- Respond promptly to urgent health issues, including acute pain management and triage situations
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing; prior experience working with seniors preferred
- Experience working in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care environments highly desirable
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and infection control protocols
- Critical care experience or hospital-based nursing background (Level I/II trauma center experience) is advantageous
- Ability to perform medical procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheterization, and tube feeding
- Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on compassionate care for individuals with disabilities or dementia

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
