Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments.
- Pick orders accurately using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to fulfill customer or internal requests.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to OSHA and forklift safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation; report any major issues promptly.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards in production environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management systems, and order picking techniques.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning for logistics purposes and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and materials handling.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely; physically fit for demanding tasks.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse management system (WMS) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.70 - $19.13 per hour
