Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service excellence
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail environment
- Oversee employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products and company policies
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, inventory management, and reporting purposes
- Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales opportunities
- Supervise shift schedules, monitor store performance metrics, and ensure operational standards are consistently met or exceeded
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and managerial communication to motivate staff and engage customers effectively
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math for accurate stock control and sales analysis
- Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and operational management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Previous experience in grocery or wireless retail sectors is advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and managerial reporting capabilities
