Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and meal assembly to ensure quality and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas regularly
- Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and managing waste disposal to keep the dining space tidy
- Greet guests warmly as a host or hostess, providing friendly in-person customer service and answering questions about menu options
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and proper handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Experience with dishwashing, cleaning protocols, and maintaining sanitation standards in a kitchen environment
