What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Associate / Local Driver, you'll play an important role in ensuring our furniture is handled safely and arrives exactly where it needs to be.
Your responsibilities include:
- Safely transport furniture between vendor locations and our logistics hub.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise with care.
- Receive, inspect, and stage furniture within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory and other warehouse operations as needed.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Represent Gish's Furniture professionally with vendors and coworkers.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Friendly, respectful, and team-oriented.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to be insured by our vehicle insurance carrier.
- Valid Commercial Medical Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
Physical Requirements
- Routinely lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Regularly walk, stand, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
- Sit for extended periods while operating company vehicles.
