Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Manager at QualFab, you will oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Duties Include:
- Supervise and support logistics team members, assigning daily tasks and managing workflow
- Coordinate and oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Set up and manage truck scheduling, loading, and unloading activities
- Support manufacturing by responding to material movement requests
- Ensure outgoing products are properly prepared for shipment (skidded, banded, wrapped)
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and materials records
- Utilize ERP systems to generate documents and track materials
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and freight brokers to coordinate shipments
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners
- Analyze workflows to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Logistics Manager Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of logistics experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Forklift and/or heavy equipment operating experience
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills
- Knowledge of importing/exporting processes preferred
