Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist in the Fargo, ND area.

Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
You will lead an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community.
In a typical week, you will complete assessments and service plans. You will be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide skills training, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, and in the community. Also, you will provide education and consult to families, community, interns, and residents.

Location
ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

Minimum Qualifications
Clinician position, you are required to have a master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or any other Master's degree approved by a North Dakota Board, and ND licensure as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor); or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
- OR a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.
We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced rate.
Human Relations Counselors require a master's degree in social work and ND licensure as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners; OR a master's degree in counseling and ND licensure as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) by the ND Board of Counselor Examiners.

OR a master's degree in counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy - LAMFT licensure (if applicant is far along with the process to obtain their LPCC/LMFT within two years from the date of hire)
Behavioral Modification Specialist must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, child development and family science, human services, or communication disorders.

OR a bachelor's degree in one of the above fields and two years of related work experience and working towards obtaining clinical licensure, in the respective discipline. The work experience must be in a professional setting and supervised by a licensed practitioner in a related field.
This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
