Responsibilities
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, repairs, and balancing with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate tools and techniques to meet manufacturer specifications
- Assist with wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and safety standards
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks accurately
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Support additional automotive service tasks such as brake inspections, fluid top-offs, and minor repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Experience
- Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with hands-on vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with tire service equipment, alignment tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Service technician experience that highlights customer interaction skills is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires or vehicle parts
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles within the automotive industry is beneficial
