Virginia Furniture Market seeks an experienced sales professional for our Crafted store in Rocky Mount, VA. As a VFM sales professional you are the face of our business. By engaging with clients, assessing their home furnishing needs, lifestyle and budget and presenting solutions to close the sale, you will develop long-term and trusting relationships. Our Sales Professionals must be energetic, motivated and keep up-to-date on knowledge of products, services and administrative duties to complete the sales process.

Pay: Uncapped earnings potential with guaranteed base of over $30,000 with annualized earnings expectation of $75,000+. $15/hr base
Responsibilities of the Crafted Sales Specialist include:
· Welcoming customers with enthusiasm in a warm & friendly manner
· Assessing customers’ furniture needs and applying product & design knowledge to formulate solutions
· Detail oriented approach to creating custom orders for the customer
· Following up with new customers, prospective customers, and past customers to maintain continuity of service from initial contact through the entire purchase and delivery cycle
· Commit to a learning environment to remain knowledgeable on all products and home design services
· Meet monthly and annual sales goals
Requirements include:
· Sales experience. Furniture sales or interior design experience a plus.
· Weekend and holiday work is required
· Highly driven and self-motivated to meet & exceed personal sales goals
· Professional demeanor with excellent communication and relationship building skills
· Computer literacy
· Detail oriented
· High school diploma. College degree in related field a plus.
· Satisfactory background check

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Sunday as scheduled (two weekdays off per week)
- Weekends are mandatory, as are holidays

- Retail sales: 1 year (Required)
