Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Home Health contract requiring an active PTA license and 1+ years of experience.

Details

Home Health setting with a caseload of about 5-6 patients per day and 27-28 visits per week
Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekend scheduling varies depending on patient visit needs
Scheduling attempts to keep visits within one territory to limit drive time between patients
Uses In Touch EMR for documentation and charting
13-week contract length

Requirements

Active PTA license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
Strong technology skills required
Reliable and dependable candidate needed for home health visits

Additional Information

Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes as part of a home health care team
Local candidates are welcome to apply for this position
Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
