Supportive Staff Professional Needed for Engaging Adult Male in Philadelphia, PA
We are looking for a patient, compassionate, and energetic person to support our loved one, a 35 -year-old gentleman with autism. He is active, enjoys music, and loves going on daily walks. We are seeking a long-term support person to help him maintain independence and engage in his community.
The Role:
Support: Providing one-on-one companionship, supporting daily routines, and ensuring safety in the home and community.
Community: Accompanying him on outings, including playing basketball, errands, Dave and Busters, and the Mall.
Independence: Assisting with meal prep, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping.
Consistency: Following established daily structures and communication strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
· Experience working with adults with autism (preferred).
· A calm, patient demeanor, especially in high-stress situations.
· Excellent, clear communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable, safe transportation.
· Background check required.
· COVID-19 vaccination required
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: Week. Date hours are Monday through Friday; hours range from 10 AM-6 PM. The second and fourth Saturdays 11:00 am to 9:30 pm and occasionally 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and occasionally overnights and be willing to fill in if staff is out during the week.
Pay: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience.
Pay: $23.99 - $28.90 per hour
