Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for residents with wounds or ostomies
Provide comprehensive wound care education to residents and their families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and achieve desired outcomes
Perform regular wound assessments, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and detailed records of wound care treatment and progress
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize wound care outcomes and minimize complications
Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care technologies, techniques, and best practices
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wound care or a related field
Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices
Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
