Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support learners across diverse age groups and educational needs. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, implementing individualized instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes growth, confidence, and academic achievement. Duties
- Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Implement instructional modifications and accommodations for students with disabilities or special needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, or visual impairments.
- Utilize educational technology and learning tools to enhance engagement and facilitate effective instruction across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and recreational therapy.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
- Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student achievement and inform instructional strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in early childhood education preferred.
- Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities in classroom settings.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external specialists.
- Familiarity with educational technology integration, including learning management systems and assistive devices.
- Experience in classroom management, behavior management for students with special needs, and applying applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and developmental levels.
