DUTIES:
- Performs a variety of maintenance tasks at community building, elder residences and Tribal grounds and facilities.
- Janitorial work
- Operate mowers, and weed eaters
- Painting
- Debris pickup
- Additional duties as assigned by on site supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reliability, timeliness, and good people skills
- Ability to understand, and execute written and oral instructions
- Must be willing to perform strenuous tasks outdoors, in all types of weather and varying times of day/week
- Must be willing to learn how to safely operate yard equipment
- Attend workshops/trainings as assigned
- Employment is contingent upon pre-employment background and drug screening.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 14 to 18 years of age on your starting date
- Member of federally recognized Indian tribe
- Current enrollment in Cusick High school or;
- Kalispel Tribal member enrolled in any School
- GPA of 2.0
- If your have any failing grades part of your work day will be summer school.
