Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Columbus, Ohio.
This role supports a high-acuity oncology population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, advanced nursing interventions, and interdisciplinary coordination within a leading cancer center environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for experienced PCU nurses comfortable managing complex patients, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drips in a fast-paced hospital setting.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Contract Length: 13–16 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 (36 hours/week)
- Schedule: Self-scheduling (no block scheduling)
- Patient Population: Adult & geriatric
- EMR: Epic
COMPENSATION
- Gross: $2,359 per week
- W2: $24.50 per hour
- Tax-Free Stipend: $1,477 per week
CLINICAL FOCUS
- High-acuity PCU / Stepdown care
- Continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring
- Cardiac drips and IV medication management
- Oncology patient population
- Interdisciplinary care coordination
UNIT HIGHLIGHTS
- James Cancer Hospital environment
- PCU ratios typically 1:3 (may flex to 1:4)
- Mixed acuity oncology population
- Exposure to Med-Surg Tele and PCU Oncology units
