Overview
We are hiring a DRSN Technician to support secure communications infrastructure at the Pentagon. This role is critical to maintaining and operating mission-essential telecommunications systems in a high-tempo environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering, installation, and maintenance of Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) systems
- Monitor and ensure continuous availability of communication circuits
- Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and service restoration
- Support telecommunications upgrades and network expansions
- Provide outage reporting and system status updates
- Maintain operations in a 24/7 mission-critical environment
- Work with secure communications and cryptographic systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Security+ CE certification
- 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
- Experience with network/telecom systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to work overnight shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DRSN or similar secure communications systems
- Background in telecommunications, COMSEC, or network operations
- Experience with testing tools and circuit monitoring
- Familiarity with contingency planning and restoration
