VP Strategic Partnerships
POSITION OVERVIEW: The VP Strategic Partnerships is a strategic, market-facing leader who serves as iQuanti’s primary point of connection across the external ecosystem — owning the firm’s relationships with key sourcing consultancies, research and analyst firms, B2B2C reseller partners, and complementary non-competitive agencies. At the same time, this leader oversees iQuanti’s Sales Enablement function, ensuring that every RFP, proposal, and competitive pitch reflects the highest standards of quality, precision, and differentiation.
This is a newly defined, integrated role that unifies two critical and previously separate functions: Partner Development and Sales Enablement. The ideal candidate understands that winning in a competitive market requires both the right external relationships and the right internal response capability — and they are equally skilled at building both. A player/coach leader, the VP will personally cultivate the firm’s most strategic external relationships while building, developing, and holding accountable a team of six across two distinct sub-functions.
The VP Strategic Partnerships will ensure iQuanti’s external ecosystem and pre-sales execution are tightly aligned with the firm’s growth strategy, iQ.Ai positioning, and revenue targets.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing Consultancy Relationship Management & Ratings Acceleration
- Serve as iQuanti’s senior relationship owner for key sourcing consultancies — Pile & Company, mediasense (R3), Mercer Island Group, and Flock Associates — executing a structured engagement model of regular briefings, capability updates, and iQ.Ai narrative positioning that keeps iQuanti top-of-mind and generates qualified RFP introductions.
- Drive ratings acceleration by ensuring iQuanti’s capabilities, differentiators, and client results are consistently and compellingly communicated to consultancy evaluation teams; track sourced pipeline and introductions to measure impact.
Research Firm Engagement
- Build and manage iQuanti’s relationships with Forrester, Gartner, and other relevant analyst firms — positioning the firm for inclusion in key reports and Wave evaluations — and develop compelling briefing materials in collaboration with SVP Solutions and VP Marketing.
- Synthesize analyst insights and market intelligence and distribute findings to the CGO, SVP Solutions, and Senior Product leaders to inform GTM strategy and solution development priorities.
B2B2C Reseller Partnership Development
- Identify, cultivate, and activate strategic B2B2C reseller partnerships with financial technology platforms and payments processors — including FIS, Fiserv, and comparable providers — developing the commercial frameworks, agreements, and activation plans that drive co-sell, referral, and channel revenue for iQuanti.
Non-Competitive Agency Cultivation & Joint Pursuit Management
- Identify and develop relationships with complementary, non-competitive agencies that create natural co-sell or joint pursuit opportunities — establishing clear rules of engagement, joint GTM frameworks, and shared pipeline visibility; lead or co-lead joint RFP pursuits as needed.
RFP & Proposal Process Ownership — Blueprint Development & Execution
- Own the end-to-end RFP and proposal process — establishing the operational blueprint, governance model, quality standards, and turnaround disciplines that enable iQuanti to compete and win at scale.
- Build and maintain a living library of modular proposal assets, solution narratives, case studies, and competitive intelligence; integrate iQuanti’s proprietary IP story — iQ.Ai, ALPS, SIERA, LEAP, and the Omnichannel Paid Media Hub — into every response with consistency and differentiation.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to improve the efficiency, personalization, and quality of all proposal outputs.
Pre-Sales Research & Response Coordination
- Lead the Sales Enablement team in delivering targeted prospect research, competitive analysis, and industry intelligence that sharpens iQuanti’s positioning in pursuit situations — establishing clear SLAs, intake processes, and prioritization frameworks to deploy resources against the highest-impact opportunities.
New Business Pitch Support & Competitive Positioning
- Provide strategic input and content support for high-priority new business pitches, maintaining a current competitive intelligence framework across performance marketing, martech, and analytics services — and collaborate with SVP Solutions and VP Marketing to continuously refine iQuanti’s value proposition and solution packaging.
High-Potential Growth Account Sponsorship
- Serve as executive sponsor for one to two high-potential growth accounts — partnering with Client Services to develop strategic growth plans, deepen executive relationships, and bring external market and ecosystem perspectives that drive creative expansion conversations.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in partnerships, business development, or commercial operations within digital marketing, martech, or analytics services — with a demonstrated track record of building external relationships that generate measurable revenue impact.
- Proven experience engaging with sourcing consultancies and developing qualified opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead RFP and proposal operations at scale — including process design, quality governance, team development, and measurable improvement in win rates.
- Deep familiarity with regulated industries — financial services and insurance required; healthcare strongly preferred.
- Experience developing B2B2C reseller or channel partnership strategies — particularly within financial technology, payments, or adjacent infrastructure ecosystems.
- Strong fluency across digital marketing disciplines — SEO/GEO, Paid Media, Analytics, MarTech — sufficient to craft credible, differentiated proposal narratives and lead substantive partner conversations.
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex, multi-discipline capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate at the C-suite level.
- Proven player/coach leadership profile: able to personally manage strategic external relationships while simultaneously building and developing a high-performing team.
- Collaborative, cross-functional influencer: able to align stakeholders across BD, Solutions, Marketing, and Client Services without direct authority — and drive accountability with clarity and respect.
- Familiarity with AI tools for proposal automation, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement content development.
- Comfortable in lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments requiring the ability to build systems and processes from the ground up
Preferred
- Experience positioning AI-driven marketing platforms or proprietary technology (e.g., iQ.Ai) as a competitive differentiator in RFPs and partner conversations.
- Background in a PE-backed or high-growth agency environment with exposure to structured commercial processes and growth-oriented cultures.
