Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with counseling, evaluations, and IEP processes for middle school-aged students preferred
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to middle school students
- Conduct initial assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Chair CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and serve as a resource to staff and families
- Support classroom teams and contribute to positive behavior intervention plans
- Deliver crisis support and facilitate de-escalation strategies when needed
