Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Military and Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including military personnel, veterans, and civilians. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individual psychological testing for diverse client populations.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused care such as PTSD treatment, and autism spectrum disorder support.
- Deliver crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute psychological distress or trauma-related disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and behavioral health strategies aligned with clinical ethical guidelines.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions across inpatient, outpatient, school, and telehealth settings.
- Supervise clinical staff and interns while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, conduct mental health diagnostics, and support clients with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Engage in ongoing research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and stay current with advancements in psychology and mental health services.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or military populations in clinical settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in child & family counseling, addiction counseling, social work, or related specialties.
- Strong background in crisis intervention, mental health assessments, behavioral health treatment planning, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma-related disorders, or disabilities.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering therapy via telehealth modalities.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and clinical ethical guidelines for patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Supervisory experience is preferred to support team development and ensure quality care delivery.
