Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) / Behavioral Health Technician
Location: Aberdeen, WA
Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to support individuals on their recovery journey through counseling, treatment planning, education, and care coordination. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about addiction recovery and behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions
- Facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-focused group sessions
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and community resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards of practice
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of addiction treatment experience required
- Experience providing individual and group counseling services
- Experience working within multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and behavioral health treatment practices
- Active Washington State SUDP License required
- SUDP Trainees with a minimum of 1,800 documented work hours may be considered if meeting Washington State requirements
