The Stubborn Brother Pizza Bar is hiring experienced, energetic bartenders to join our team at our new Ann Arbor location!
We are a fast-paced, high-volume, family-owned pizza bar looking for bartenders who know how to provide great service, stay organized under pressure, and create a fun and welcoming experience for our guests. With our location in downtown Ann Arbor, we expect busy weekends, University of Michigan game days, events, and plenty of high-volume shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to bar guests
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into Toast POS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift
- Follow proper alcohol service and ID verification procedures
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
- Restock beer, liquor, wine, glassware, and bar supplies as needed
- Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management
- Maintain a sense of urgency during high-volume shifts
- Follow all company policies, sanitation standards, and Michigan liquor laws
- Help create a positive and professional team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment
- Strong knowledge of beer, liquor, wine, and basic cocktails
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and University of Michigan game days
- Must meet Michigan's legal requirements for serving alcohol

Our Ann Arbor location brings The Stubborn Brother experience to downtown Ann Arbor, and we are looking for bartenders who want to be part of building an incredible team from the beginning.
