Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and community/facility leaders in the North and South Carolina regions.
- Identify key stakeholders throughout the organizations’ networks and drive excellence in business across multiple key areas
- Travel to multiple facilities in multiple cities(Skilled Nursing Facilities, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities) as needed.
- Act as a communication hub between various teams of the Company. Document all communication as necessary.
- Attend, participate in, and represent Summit in community outreach events and industry conferences to promote Summit Medical Carolinas' services.
- Drive business development in the North and South Carolinas with out of the box thinking and a solutions oriented approach
- Secure Medical Directorship agreements with new facilities
- Generate an increase in patient referrals in existing facilities
- Work to secure new contracts and partnerships with post-acute facilities in target regions
- Utilize contacts and work with Summit’s recruiting department to recruit physician and non-physician providers that will service newly achieved growth
- Collaborate with company leadership to establish short and long-term objectives for the North and South Carolina regions
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the day-to-day functions of a Company with multiple locations and complex structure to achieve these objectives
- Implement process improvements that lead to measurable cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Serve as a member of the leadership team as well as a role model for ethical management behavior and promote an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission and Values of Summit Medical Consultants.
- Participate in Administrator on Call rotation
- Project Management: Complete designated projects related to practice management within the specified timeline and budget.
- Analyze systems and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
- Other administrative tasks as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years experience working in healthcare administrative setting
- Proven experience with growing and expanding business in post acute and/or hospital or healthcare setting
- Proven methodology in streamlining multi-state processes with a cross functional team
- Proven track record of working independently, while creating new policies and procedures for continuous process improvement
- Results oriented
- Travel will be required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical background
- Experience working in a small independent business
- Experience managing a post acute healthcare organization
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
