Position Summary Manage all projects for the applicable product line(s), taking into consideration the Customer’s requirements as well as the Company’s requirements and interests. The Program Manager will ensure all project commitments are met, on schedule, by all departments including Engineering, Operations, Quality and Accounting.
Specific Responsibilities
- Leads teams to ensure all project commitments are satisfied.
- Receive/Review contract against quote or Long Term Agreement.
- Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules as per the MRP system prompts and analytical judgment.
- Confer with purchasing, engineering, quality, and the Operation Department to determine progress of work and completion dates.
- Compile reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
- Compile information such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, and customer information so status reports can be completed.
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, backlogs, or other interruptions; collaborating with management, production, and engineering.
- Manage planning for new product releases.
- Interface as required with purchasing to ensure that orders are placed on time and to ensure date required by system to support production.
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Confer with department managers to determine status of assigned projects.
- Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepare production reports.
- May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain budgets and profit/loss.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Management and/or Engineering preferred.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years; Program/Project Management, Contract Administration, Customer Service and technical/engineering specs experience.
Special Skills: Forecasting, planning, inventory management, production-scheduling principles, mathematics.Proficient in MS Office. ERP System, Epicor 10. Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Creative and flexible.
Physical Requirements: Work is performed mostly in office setting. Long hours sitting and using computer, may lift light supplies and materials occasionally. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
