Position Overview:
We’re looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and creative Lifestyle Director to bring the fun to Davis Reserve! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on planning exciting events, building community spirit, and helping residents live their best, most active lives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, and host a variety of activities, fitness classes, and social events—such as yoga in the park, pickleball mixers, large-scale outdoor parties and festivals and more.
· Design, execute, and manage a comprehensive lifestyle and events program for a luxury residential community, enhancing resident engagement, satisfaction, and overall quality of life.
· Curate upscale social, cultural, wellness, and recreational programming including signature events, clubs, classes, and seasonal celebrations tailored to a discerning Florida lifestyle.
· Manage the event budget, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee cost controls while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
· Build strong relationships with residents, management and staff to align lifestyle offerings with community vision and expectations.
· Coordinate with vendors, entertainers, instructors, and other amenity staff to deliver premium experiences and exclusive programming.
· Develop creative programs that encourage member participation and promote a strong sense of community.
· Coordinate live music, entertainment, and special events for the restaurant and bar.
· Build relationships with residents to understand their interests and inspire them to get involved in community activities.
· Partner with local vendors, instructors, and performers to create a diverse and exciting event calendar.
· Maintain event budgets, timelines, in coordination with management.
· Assist Marketing with communications and promotions for community activities through newsletters, flyers, website and social media.
· This is NOT a senior center, experience with high end full-scale events is required for consideration.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of hospitality, recreation and event management experience required.
· Proven ability to create and manage engaging social and wellness programs.
· Energetic personality, high energy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Comfortable leading small and large group activities.
· This is NOT an assisted living community position.
