Position Overview
Wisdom RecruitmentS is seeking a skilled and reliable Production Equipment Support Specialist for a premier client in the Financial Services sector located in Brentwood, NY. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing high-speed production equipment to ensure maximum operational availability and reliability.
This position involves executing both preventative and corrective maintenance, including specialized support for file-based servers and computer-generated data archival systems.

- Day Shift (Monday to Friday):
- Off-Peak: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Peak Periods: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Evening Shift (Monday to Friday):
- Off-Peak: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- Peak Periods: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance, and rapidly troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical issues on high-speed production equipment.
- Technical Support: Respond promptly to on-site technical support calls to minimize downtime and ensure timely issue resolution.
- System Logging: Accurately log all support activities, work hours, and parts used into the technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX) for meticulous asset management.
- Hardware & Electrical Installation: Install electrical wiring and controls for production machinery. Set up, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware integrated with production systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and EPA requirements across all maintenance operations. Maintain accurate tracking records and consistently adhere to company safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment with proven hands-on knowledge of equipment repair.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing high-speed production machinery.
- Certifications (Preferred): Vendor or equipment repair certifications for major insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.) are a distinct advantage but not mandatory.
