L11 Specialist – Converting Operations
Location: Memphis, TN
Schedule: Rotating 12‑Hour Shifts | 24/7 Operation
Pay Range: $24.51 – $32.14/hour

About the Role
We are hiring L11 Specialists to support the safe, efficient operation of a high‑speed converting line in a modern manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for experienced operators or technicians who enjoy hands‑on equipment operation, problem‑solving, and teamwork.
L11 Specialists operate and maintain converting equipment, perform changeovers, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement. Team members progress through a skill‑based pay structure with clear development expectations.
What You’ll Do
Safely operate high‑speed converting and packaging equipment
(winders, log saws, wrappers, bundlers/case packers, palletizers, stretch wrapper)
Perform full product and grade changeovers
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain output and quality
Perform autonomous and minor maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, part replacement)
Inspect products and ensure quality standards are met
Enter production, downtime, and maintenance data (SAP / MES / SCADA)
Follow lean manufacturing and safety standards
Support troubleshooting, planned outages, and process improvements
Train and support teammates as skills progress
Safety & Quality Expectations
Follow all safety rules and safe work practices (LOTO, PPE, confined space)
Report and assist with investigations of incidents or near misses
Maintain housekeeping and equipment cleanliness
Serve as a quality advocate to ensure finished products meet specifications

Specialist A $24.51/hr Entry level – equipment support & material handling
Specialist B $28.41/hr Fully qualified operator on all equipment
Specialist C $32.14/hr Lead specialist / crew leadership responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience (packaging/converting preferred)
Mechanical or electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working with HMIs, computers, and ERP systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work at heights up to 30 ft
Willing and able to obtain forklift and aerial lift certification
Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset
Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy manufacturing environments
Legal ability to travel to Canada
