Team Delta is expanding and growing, and we have immediate openings for experienced Water Damage Restoration Lead Technicians.
Our technicians are responsible for the successful completion of water removal, structural drying, mold remediation, demolition, reconstruction, and contents pack-out/pack-back for fire, water, mold, environmental, and other property losses.

We understand the insurance restoration process and work closely with insurance carriers, property owners, and other stakeholders to help create a smooth, efficient, and fair restoration experience.
Lead Technician Responsibilities
- Identify the source of loss and determine the initial scope of work.
- Obtain required work authorization contracts and customer signatures before beginning work.
- Lead water mitigation and restoration projects from initial response through completion.
- Perform water extraction and contents pack-out/pack-back.
- Identify testing requirements, including lead, asbestos, mold, and other environmental hazards.
- Remove and dispose of non-salvageable flooring affected by water damage.
- Remove and dispose of damaged, contaminated, or wet building materials.
- Perform water extraction using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Set up, maintain, and monitor containment areas.
- Perform mold remediation when required and within applicable company procedures.
- Perform hard-surface cleaning and related mitigation services.
- Take accurate moisture readings and measurements.
- Set up and maintain commercial drying equipment according to company guidelines.
- Monitor drying conditions daily and achieve the targeted dry standard.
- Complete clean, detailed, and accurate job-site sketches, including required measurements.
- Take comprehensive before, during, and after photographs, including appropriate photo labels.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Upload photos, moisture readings, sketches, and documentation in real time through the company's mobile platform.
- Keep customers, the Mitigation Coordinator, and Mitigation Manager updated throughout the job.
- Communicate job progress, challenges, and changes in scope promptly.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support other technicians.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional job site.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Represent Team Delta professionally with customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and other contractors.
Lead Technician Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional water damage restoration experience required.
- Previous experience working as a Lead Technician is required.
- Experience leading crews of approximately 5–20 technicians and overseeing small- to large-loss projects strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a loss from initial assessment through completion.
- Strong knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, contents handling, and restoration procedures.
- Experience with commercial and residential losses preferred.
On-Call & Emergency Response Requirements
This is an emergency-response position. Applicants must be willing and able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule, including assigned weeks of emergency coverage.
- Must be available to respond to new emergency water losses during your scheduled on-call week.
- After-hours calls may include nights, weekends, holidays, and other non-business hours.
- Must be able to respond promptly to emergency service calls when assigned to on-call duty.
- Must be willing to work overtime when necessary to complete emergency losses.
- Must be able to respond to service calls during inclement weather and other challenging conditions.
- Our customers depend on us when emergencies happen, so reliability and responsiveness are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of water restoration experience, including Lead Technician experience.
- Proven experience supervising restoration crews and managing small- to large-loss projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, management, insurance representatives, and other professionals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate a wide range of equipment commonly used in restoration, demolition, and construction.
- Ability to work for extended periods in varying temperatures and environments involving fire, water, environmental, and wind damage.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting equipment and materials.
- Must be able to respond to emergency service calls after hours and during inclement weather.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Motor vehicle records must show no more than 6 points assessed against the driver's license during the previous 24 months.
- IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
- Must successfully pass required respirator fit testing.
- Must be dependable, professional, organized, and able to work independently.
- Must be a strong team player with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Compensation
$24–$30 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 1 year of employment
