Duties
- Prepare floors for coating applications by cleaning, grinding, and ensuring surfaces are free of debris and contaminants
- Apply specialty coatings such as epoxy, urethane, or other protective finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Perform routine floor care tasks including buffing, polishing, and deep cleaning to maintain optimal appearance and durability
- Assist with the installation of new flooring materials, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion according to specifications
- Conduct inspections of finished surfaces to verify quality standards are met and perform touch-ups as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and stored after use
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and maintenance projects
Requirements
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, grinders, and other floor maintenance equipment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
