Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Painters to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will bring spaces to life through expert painting techniques, transforming residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Your attention to detail, craftsmanship, and ability to work efficiently on various projects will contribute to delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations. Whether working on renovation projects or new construction sites, you will play a vital role in creating visually stunning and durable finishes.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers and brushes.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine specific painting requirements and project scope.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision, including wall coatings, trim work, stucco finishes, and restoration tasks.
- Perform plastering, masonry touch-ups, and drywall repairs as needed to create smooth surfaces for painting.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and perform renovation work including framing and remodeling tasks.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with site familiarity.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, schematics interpretation, and surface preparation techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, brushes, rollers, scrapers, as well as power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to paint quantities and surface areas.
- Experience with plastering, stucco application, fixture installation, masonry work, concrete finishing or related trades is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid construction site experience with familiarity in renovation or restoration projects is highly desirable.
