Part-Time Medical Office Receptionist
Location: Dandridge, TN (Interviews & Training in Morristown, TN)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rehab Group, a trusted leader in the rehabilitation community, is seeking a Part-Time Medical Office Receptionist to join our energetic outpatient physical therapy clinic in Dandridge, TN. Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients while verifying and updating medical records
- Perform registration duties, collect copays and balances
- Provide high-level customer service and patient support
- Understand insurance processes (pre-authorizations, referrals, benefit verification, etc.)
- Maintain accurate scheduling following clinic guidelines
- Answer and route incoming calls; make outbound calls for appointment confirmations, referrals, and insurance-related tasks
- File charts and handle documentation accurately
- Support charge entry and assist with coding-related tasks when needed
- Handle administrative duties in line with clinic protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous medical office or front desk experience required
- Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, scheduling software, and electronic medical records
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication, clerical, and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
- Part-Time Role: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Primary Work Location: Dandridge Clinic
- Training & Interviews: Will be conducted at our Morristown Clinic
