Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing their needs promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and following food safety protocols
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quick turnaround times in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting
- Support kitchen operations by following recipes, managing time effectively, and ensuring food is prepared safely according to industry standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
