The Center for Attachment & Trauma exists to strengthen families involved in the child welfare system by centering relationship, connection, and repair. We work with children and parents navigating trauma, separation, and system involvement, with a clear focus on keeping families connected and returning children home as soon as it is safely possible. Our work recognizes that trauma is not only something that happens to individuals, but something that is carried and healed within relationships—most powerfully, within the parent–child bond.
We provide trauma-informed, attachment-based services that move beyond compliance-driven interventions and instead build the relational capacity families need to heal and remain together. By supporting parents through advocacy, coaching, and therapeutic intervention, we help families reconnect in meaningful, everyday ways, reduce unnecessary system involvement, and prevent repeated separation. Our clinicians work fiercely and collaboratively to set parents up for success, preserve attachment during times of stress, and support lasting reunification and stability.
