Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify conformance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings accurately to assess product compliance.
- Conduct quality audits and assessments in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
- Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are maintained within calibration standards for accuracy.
- Collect, analyze, and document inspection data systematically to identify trends, deviations, or non-conformities in production processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly, recommend corrective actions, and verify their implementation.
- Support quality management initiatives by participating in root cause analysis, process improvements, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments including height gauges, dial indicators, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (medical devices), GMP, HACCP, FDA regulations, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents accurately.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection, analysis, and reporting related to dimensional measurements and quality metrics.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments and quality inspection software tools.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement calculations and data interpretation.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate across teams.
