Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Tire Service Manager to lead our tire department and ensure exceptional customer service. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of service technicians, and drive sales through upselling and effective client communication. Your automotive expertise and mechanical knowledge will be essential in maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance, tire installation, and related services. Duties
- Supervise tire service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Lead, motivate, and train service technicians in tire installation, repair, and other automotive services
- Manage customer interactions by providing expert advice on tire options, upselling additional services such as alignments or brake repairs
- Utilize point of sale system to prepare accurate service estimates
- Oversee inventory management for tires, tools, and parts to ensure availability and minimize waste
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed service writing records
- Schedule perform and direct service work
- Communicate with customers daily for repair status updates on their vehicles
Skills
- Proven experience in auto service management with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Extensive knowledge of tire services including mounting, balancing, alignment, shocks & struts, brake repair, suspension work, oil changes, air brakes, and wheel alignments
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to drive safely and confidently in various conditions
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to promote products and services effectively
- Cash handling proficiency with attention to accuracy in financial transactions
- Valid driver's license required.
