We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping supervision, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires excellent supervisory skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to supervise a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. This premium/luxury hotel features 70 upscale rooms that require the utmost attention to detail. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the hotel environment.
- Collaborate with management to review and develop strategies, budget-planning, training initiatives, and best practices.
- Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations in all cleaning activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices.
- Prior IHG or premium/luxury hotels is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in hotel or custodial settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and guests professionally.
