High Volume Auto Body shop in Dorchester is seeking Auto Damage Appraisers.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Assessing damages with customers
· Logging customers/jobs into our customer database
· Confirming insurance coverages and payments
· Appraising vehicles for original estimates and supplements.
· Ordering necessary parts
· Negotiating the claim with insurance representatives
· Customer communication and updating
· Closing out files once jobs are completed
Office hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Great opportunity for overtime hours if interested
Massachusetts appraiser's license is preferred, but shop will consider candidates who are starting or are in the process of getting licensed, while also possibly paying for applicant to go to licensing classes.
Compensation varies depending on skill level.
Shop is willing to do a “tryout” period for those who are interested
